    24 weeks & feeling huge!

Hi.  I am just over 24 weeks and have gained 17 pounds so far.  In the last two weeks, I feel like my stomach has just exploded!  My doctor said I am measuring at 26 to 27 weeks.  Is anyone else feeling like this?  It is starting to get harder to go up stairs, etc.  This is my second pregnancy, so maybe everything just pops out faster.  I hate to think what I will feel like 12 weeks from now!  :)

Hi, I felt the same way with my 2nd. With the 1st I wanted to show and it took forever, with the 2nd I started showing at about 12 weeks. I measured about 3 weeks ahead for most of my pregnancy. I think that my body was saying, Oh yeah, I remember this and out came the belly. I did buy a belly band and it made a huge difference on my back and legs.

    Good Luck!!

I am 24 weeks as well, measuring right on schedule I have gained 20lbs or so as well. I am feeling somewhat big but not that bad. I aslo bought a belly band from baby's R us it does help a lot, definatley worth the $25. Just keep up the exercise and high fiber intake and it's not that bad. My big problem so far is sleeping, the extra weight makes it hard to get comfortable. I have tried the body pillows and different smaller pillows and nothing seems to take the pressure off the hips, by morning the hips hurt so bad that there is no reason to try to get any extra rest. I am not looking foward to the next 12 weeks based on that. Any tips on hip pains?
