    Diaper Bag Blues

I need some serious advice on which diaper bag to buy for my second baby (due in March). With my first son I bought three diaper bags total over the first year and a half and ended up being dissatisfied with some aspect of all of them. I need a bag that is big enough to carry essentials for my two yr old and the new baby, but I dislike carrying really large bags so it needs to be as small as possible while still functional. I also need "mommy room" because I refuse to carry around a diaper bag AND a purse. If the diaper bag was trendy enough to be mistaken for a purse that would be a huge plus! Oh yeah, and it has to be neutral enough that my husband won't freak out if I ask him to carry it through the parking lot. I use a stroller a lot so it has to be able to fasten to the back of one.

This is a huge list, but I know there must be a diaper bag out there that will work for me. Please let me know which bags you have tried and which ones you liked.

    Thanks,

    J

Check out what Skip*Hop has to offer -- they have lots of options, including some very neutral and understated colors the men won't mind.

I haven't purchased one yet, but my friend recommends Ju-Ju Be bags. They are kind of pricey but have all of the qualities you are looking for. Many sizes and patterns (or lack there of for your husband).
