American foster children need your help. Please, help one of God’s sweet angels who have been born into a life of neglect and pain. If not us, who? If not now, when?

involved in promoting RN's and LVN's to leave hospital nursing and take in
Medically Fragile  Preemies and Children from the revolving Foster System into their homes (as
either Foster  Parents or Adoptive Parents). California's Medi-Cal system will
pay an RN or LVN to care for a Medically Fragile child when the RN/LVN become
Independent  Nurses for Medi-Cal. Other states will, hopefully, be spurred to
follow suit.  Please check it out, and pass it on....:I didn't even know about
this until  after I took Alexia home from the hospital (I was her nurse in Peds
ICU;  working 12 hour shifts). Now, I'm her stay-at-home nurse....and I
want every  nurse to be aware of the options. This may even encourage those
parents who  think, "I should become a nurse - I know what all is involved in
taking care of  my child!"
