Hi,
Have you gotten many responses? I would be happy to help if you need more input...but if not, that is okay too. I am also a nurse, who still remembers what it was like to be a student nurse like yourself...very hard curriculum and super busy schedule...not much sleep in those days. I am currently not working (used to work in a NICU setting...loved it!) , but now am a stay at home mom with 4 kids. I am an older mom...in my 40's and recently found out I am pregnan (what!?!!)...totally unplanned, and unexpected. My boys are in high school...one about to graduate...my youngest is 7. I was sooo enjoying this phase in my life, and getting used to the idea of being pregnant has been very difficult. I am feeling better as time goes on, and with much prayer for a change in heart. I am married, Catholic, and very pro life, so despite my own "desires" or any possible problems with this baby, i would not terminate the pregnancy. I just went to my 12 week appointment and saw, for the first time...a real looking baby in there...with super cute toes, legs moving, arms with fingers waving...etc....seeing that really gave me a change in perspective and a first time "warming up" to the baby inside. But, if you need input, I would have lots to share...both emotionally and physically!
So, you might already have enough input from mom's...but if not...I would be happy to give you updates as i go through this crazy roller coaster I did not buy a ticket for! :0 Either way...good luck with your assignment. :)
