I drink soda every now and then but it's no caffiene. Caffiene can cause miscarriage early in pregnancy. You can check it out on google or some other search site.

I'm not usually a big caffeine person anyway, so it's probably easy for me to say, but I wouldn't risk it!

My girlfriend give me the guilt trip every time she sees me...I do not drink soda...I can not have caffeine but I drink carbonated beverages like flavored seltzer water and club soda etc.  she claims to have reads somewhere no carbonated drinks...however like I told her, I spent my first trimester with such morning sickness and I lived 24/7 on gingerale...my little bean is healthy and could not have imagined those first 12wks with out my gingerale.

as always moderation is key, however coke and stuff have tons of sugar and caf that you really do not need.

Even your Dr. will tell you that the key is moderation. As long as you are getting at least 8 cups of water a day then a soda will not be the end of the world, even if it's not caffeine/sugar free! I drink the occasional pop, however I have to make it diet, since I'm a gestational diabetic the sugar is of much more concern than the caffeine. As long as you don't over do it, it's fine.
