    Crazy Question

So I am not sure if I am crazy but do people you know and people you don't know feel the need to touch or rub your preggo belly?  I just have to take a minute to vent because someone at my work who I don't even know, put there hand on my stomach.  So I did it back to them and shocked the heck out of them.  I just think it is a little weird that people feel like it is open season to invade your personal space no matter who it is.   Anyone else experience this????  Or do I just look too friendlyBig Smile HA HA.

Too funny! I love the thought of you putting your hand back on their belly! That is cracking me up!!!
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to get people to completely stop, but it's still your body and your personal space. If you don't want them touching you, then you have every right to say "Hands off, Lady!"

I don't think that this is a crazy question at all this is my third pregnancy and I have never touched a pregnant womans belly with out her permission and the only ones that I have touched are my families @ the baby shower. I think that it is very irratating. I have had ppl I did not know ask me to touch my belly before. I like the way you handled your situation. I think the best way to handle it when asked is to say "I'd rather you not the baby just settled down" or maybe " I'm sorry but I am not feeling well." Both are lies I know but what can you say without offending ppl. For the ones that touch with out asking let them have it! I used to say "excuse you" and they would get the point. I will be trying your method and rubbing their belly back as if it is some ancient ritual to greet a person. I hope it does not happen to you too much it can run your temper short in what is supposed to be a happy time for you.
