Hi everyone, it's been a few weeks since I've been on, I can't seem to be able to keep a computer working if my life depended on it. Any way, I had my amniocentesis on May 7th. We got the preliminary results on May 9th, and everything looked good. We got our final results on May 16th, and everything is just perfect, no Trisomy 13, 18, or Downs Syndrome, and no neural tube defects. Yeah! Also we are having a girl. I would have been happy with either gender, but I am extremely happy with a girl. We are going to name her Maila Emery Halquist, pronounced mila, and the emery comes from my middle name, which also happens to be my mom's maiden name. We are so happy to be adding a new one to our family, started buying things for her today. Bye!
