    New Mommy at 39

Hi September Mommies..........l I am new to this site.........I am 18wks and 4days pregnant..........It's really a miracle I became prenant after being told I had a 1 to 2% chance........but I had surgery to correct my endometrosis and then got pregant after 2 months. It's the best present we could have gotten for Christmas!! I don't know what I'm having as of yet.......I told them to put in envelope and I would open with husband if we decide too......I think I would like to know. I have a feeling it's a boy....but ya never know. As long as it's healthy happy baby! Anyone else having extremely dry mouth and find it diffuculty to sleep cuz of it. I am hoping I don't have Gestational Diabetes........suppose I have to get tested............Well Good luck to everyone............Nanc

Congratulations.  You are 10wks exactly ahead of me, however I am also 39, and I found out I was pregnant on my birthday.  I soooo want to know what we are having and I can not wait to find out.  I have not had any dry mouth, but the sleep thing is getting to me.  There are days I have no problems and then there are days I am ready to pull my hair out.  I can not figure out how I have one great night...2 nights staring at the clock and then another great night.  The yoyo effect is killing.  Best of luck to you and hubby.

Congratulations on your impending arrival! The sleep thing has nothing to do with GD, it's just a pregnancy thing. All those crazy hormones and not to mention dreams make it hard to sleep and if you do get to sleep it doesn't feel like you got much rest. I also get thirsty at night and do have GD, but there are other signs and I don't think that the thirst only occurs at night with GD. I'll be sending you good thoughts and hopefully you don't have GD! Good luck and keep us posted.

    Hi,

I am going to be 38 in September.  I am starting to track with a Basal Thermometer my ovulation this month.  I plan to start taking prenatal vitamins June I and intend to start trying to conceive in August.

I have twin boys that are 13 and an 11 year old boy.  This is my effort for that illusive girl, but, if I have another boy at least I am experienced.

I had a cardiac ablation for WPW (extremely fast heart-rate) 2 years ago this October so I have been very scared to try to have another, but my cardiologist insists I have no reason to be scared the procedure is currative.  I am still scared, but I really have baby fever.  My boys are no longer babies.  I tried getting a puppy (he he), but that did not soothe me either.

I wish you luck and would love to keep in touch.
