hello ladies out there!! i was hoping to get some good insight and feedback from mamas that have chosen to deliver within a birthing center at the hospital and ones that have birthed at a freestanding birthing center?? We are currently seeing some great obgyn care at UCSF here in california, and Ive come to find out they, as well as few other medical facilities nd hospitals have birthing centers set up in hospitals with the option to labor in the tub, shower, relax and all that good stuff! We are also looking to meet with midwives for the latter portion on our care and delivery, and are looking forward to laboring and delivering in the big birthing tub, with hopefully no need for interventions, and drugs. What im wondering is how is the experience different for you if you choose one such as hospital birthing center, or if you are a freestanding??? We really want to have a nice intimate new life experience to welcome the baby, so i thought id write here on the forum to get some ideas from all the mamas out there, Thanks, mommylustre
