Grayson is my choice.  I like Gabriel, but when you say Gabe, I think of "welcome back Kotter" (Did that date me or what) and we have a friend named Graham, which I like, but he has been nicknamed "Cookie" because of it since he was a kid.  But I do love Grayson, it is on my name list.  Grayson Wyatt or Grayson Trevor we can't decide

Don't feel bad about the gas gage comment. My husband is also a car nut, and suggested Victoria Lane (Victory Lane) for girl.  He was quickly veto'd and we are just making a list.

What is wrong with them.  To much Oil & Gas or Fumes

How about plain and simple Gary, Gary Donald sounds just fine to me.
