    Need a G name for a boy.

Hi all. I have a while to think about it but want to find a name dh and I can agree on. We have three children whose names all begin with G and want to stick with that since this will be our last one. Never intended to have all G's but after the first two it stuck. My oldest is Gavin, he would have been Gwen if he were a girl so our next one is Gwen and then we have Gabby. I really like the name Gracie Marie for a girl and Gage Donald for a boy. My dh doesn't like the name Gage at all but if we have a boy we want the middle name to be Donald after my dh's grandpas who both recently passed away. It is also his middle name and our youngest daughter has my middle name. Any suggestions for a cute but not too popular G name for a boy? So far we can't agree but maybe I can get him to come around. He didn't like the name Gwen at first either:)

    Hi,

I have two names.  I'm not sure how popular they are but just wanted to throw them out there for you...The name I really like is Grant...the second is Gabe.  If I think of anymore I'll let you know.

I was gonna say Gavin!  Ok, so we kinda have the same taste... I like Gabriel, Gianni (or Giovonni), or Garrison.

Hi all. Thanks for all the suggestions. I really like Graydon or Grayson too. Hubby still doesn't like anything I come up with. We'll see.

At least your husband isn't coming up with weird names, like Smorgasbord.  That's the answer I get when I ask my husband for help coming up with boy names.  It's hard when we're both teachers to come up with good names.

Did someone say the name "Garrett"?  I kind of like the last name as a first name thing.  My cousin's name is Glen and he's a good guy.  I'm going to try to come up some better G names.

I like the name Griffin.  My brother in law's name is Geoffrey (MIL was going to name him Gaylord or Godfrey!)

My husband has been joking around and coming up with some silly names. My favorite he has come up with (jokingly of course, i would never name my son this) is Gaston Gage and we could call him Gas Gage for short. lol. That is why my hubby doesn't like the name Gage is it reminds him of a gas gage. His family is full of car nuts.

I also forgot to mention I have a nephew named Garrett and a cousin named Gabe. There is also a Garrin in my hubbys family and one of my best friends at work is Glen. I keep teasing him telling him we'll have to name one after him. Too many G names for one family I guess.
