I was just curious... when are all you guys going to be telling your family's that your pregnant and how are you going to tell them.

We are planning on waiting to tell the majority of our families until after week 12. Currently we are trying to decide when we will tell our parents. I am sure that we wait to tell them for a few more weeks.

I think that we have decided on doing this to tell our parents... If you are religious, and say prayers over dinner. During the prayer we are going to give thanks for the chance we have to be pregnant. We are praying for this anyways when we pray together (me and my husband) but at that point, we will share it with the rest of the people at the table. It will be funny we think to see the reaction.

We are not sure what we will do to tell all my brothers and sisters.

I am not pregnant yet but my husband and I are thinking about starting a family in the next few months. For years I have known known or fantasized about how I would tell my husband that we are pregnant, but never really had any ideas for how to tell our families. I totally love your idea of saying during family dinner prayer. I will definitely have to remember that for when our time comes hopefully.

 We were talking last night and we are going tell tell my 4 brothers and sisters this way...

I will be just over 12 weeks when we will have my dad and nieces birthday party. We will have already have told my parents, but we will put a ultrasound picture in a card and give it to my dad. It will be interesting to see the reactions. 

We told both of our parents and my brother-in-law.  But we've asked that they do not share it with the extended family until we are ready to do so.  We really want to wait until 12wks or we hear the heartbeat for the first time, whichever comes first.   Plus it's a lot of fun seeing how crazy our moms are because they cannot tell anyone.  LOL   They are bursting and now calling each other every night b/c they can't talk to anyone else but each other.   

I sent mike a picture message of the digital test saying pregnant. I called my brother and said happy birthday... he's like my bday's not till oct and i'm like i know but i might be busy with the baby and forget heehee cheesy but it was funny. I'm not telling my mom b/c she has a big mouth, and were trying to surprise his parents with a 3d ultrasound. They are coming out to hawaii to visit in may so we wanted to surprise them.

 we have been trying for 3 years to get pt.  Now that we are, we made up tee shirts with phrases to hint to a baby, and then on the back we put ETA:10-08. 

 We are telling everyone early, because I don't think we can keep a secret for 6 more weeks.  :)

Last time I told and I had to untell so we'll wait until at least after monday, right now the only people who know are online, and my brother and best friend. I dont wanna have to untell to everyone under the sun again it was horrible
