I had a m/c early this morning. It helped to know that the baby had stopped growing around 5 or 6 weeks instead of being the 11 weeks that I was supposed to be. It's still kind of surreal to me. I didn't have any problems with my first child so I never imagined that I would have any trouble with this one. I had noticed that I had stopped gaining weightt but my boobs were still sore and I just thought my weight gain would pick up in the second tri. To make things worse I was out of town, so I had to go to a hospital I didn't know and my mom wasn't there. Thank goodness my dh had just come to pick me up that night so he was there. I couldn't have done it without him. It will be so hard to put the maternity clothes away that I was so looking forward to wearing. And now I have to change my Christmas list because I had things like a maternity coat on there. I dread running into people that haven't heard and having to say it out loud. I don' t know it I can handle it. I think I'll hide out for a while so there's less chance of it happening. Even though I knew even before I got to the hospital that it had happened it was so hard to hear the Dr. say "I'm sorry for your loss". I just kept thinking, this isn't really happening to me. Well, I've rambled on enough for now. I go to my Dr.'s on Mon. I'll probably post about that.

I am sorry for your loss.  I wish there was something I could say to make it all better for you!  Stay strong and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

When I m/c I, obviously, didn't want to talk about it, or have to go through the ordeal of announcing it to everyone, so I just asked my mom and 2-3 of my good friends to try to spread the word.  That way, people knew, but I didn't have to tell them.  It really cut back on the number of people who came up to ask about the baby.
