  • Green Babies Organic Clothing- "Hot" Sleepers for your "Sweet Pea"

Reviewed by: Megan, mother of 5 month old Lizzie

First off, let me start by saying that these sleepers are made of organic cotton. With today's trend of everyone getting more conscious of conservation and "going green" it felt good have a little part in that movement. These sleepers come in veggie styles (pea pod and chili pepper) with matching hats that are sold separately. They have front zipper closure which allows quick and easy access to late night diaper changes and hand covers that give me assurance that she wouldve scratch her face. The ribbed cotton fits newborn snugly and looked so comfy on her. These are not cheap, but they are so adorable in an Anne Geddes way. Your new bundle can be picture-perfect while snuggled into these adorable sleepers.

    Overall Rating: B

These are very cute sleep sacks. The overall concept is witty and fits with the company's image of being a "green" company. The organic cotton is soft and color does not fade with frequent washing. One con is that the hats are sold separately. Most likely you would want the matching hats because the sleepers are cut on an angle to mirror the “veggie.”

    Final Thought:

I would recommend to other moms. Although some may find these to be too much of a costume type look, the function of these sleepers is great and if you dont like the "pepper" look, all you have to do is not us the hat. This is a very nice product overall. However, if you have a big baby, these will not be used for long since they only come in one size.

  • Baby Planet - Solo Deluxe Lightweight Stroller in Mocha Brown and Pink

Reviewed by: Krista, a new mom

I have enjoyed this stroller very much. The wheels are one of the best features -- they swivel a full 360 degrees, which is wonderful.  I even do light jogging with it. The storage basket is also very convenient and I love the cup holders: One for my babe and one for me! It's nice not to have to search out an add-on cup holder that doesn't even match my stroller. And in today's world, minor things like cup holders (the number of them, size, quality, etc.) can be lifesavers!

The extra padding on the harness is also very nice. I know it's not going to cut into my child's arms and chest -- which means a more comfortable ride and fewer attempts to escape!

One thing -- I do wish the handles extended a little further up for my husbands sake-- he is a tall one, and we've had trouble finding a stroller that doesn't cause him to crouch when he pushes it. Also the folding of the stroller is not as easy as other strollers I've tried. It takes two hands to maneuver the fold and isn’t as compact as I would like it to be.

    Overall Rating: B

Overall, I am very satisfied with the Baby Planet stroller. I love the color and the durability, and I would recommend it to other moms-to-be (unless they are really tall, that is!). Plus, Baby Planet offers a recycling program with all of their strollers -- once you are done with it, they'll pay for you to ship it back to them. Once there, they donate the stroller to a needy family or actually recycle it into new products!
