• The State Fair in pictures

  I have always been very big on taking pictures of and with Maddie, but I've cooled of late. It's not that I don't want them — I love having lots of photos from anything we do together. But I feel that every time I put the camera up, I'm taking myself out of the moment. As much as I'd like all the snapshots, I've come to value the doing of things with her much more. And for those, I'll forever have to rely on my memory. There were a lot of pictures from the State Fair that I didn't get.
