I wish that I could tell you that there was a reason for my sadness but there was not. Over the last year I have noticed that my sadness comes during hormonal shifts and I try to allow them and know that they will pass. I have often thought that this might be what it feels like to have severe PMS.

I find that I can get knocked out of balance from time to time. The daily activities of motherhood can be filled with tasks, to do’s, and timelines. As a mom, my goal is to keep these activities from overshadowing quality time with my kids and taking care of me. It is a matter of focusing attention on all of them in a balanced way.
