I wish that I could tell you that there was a reason for my sadness but there was not. Over the last year I have noticed that my sadness comes during hormonal shifts and I try to allow them and know that they will pass. I have often thought that this might be what it feels like to have severe PMS.

It was a beautiful afternoon, Boo was still napping and AJ and I decided to read his favorite golf book outside on the patio. He loves looking at pictures of various courses from around the world and the funny places that a golf ball can end up; his favorite...

I intended, with this, my second post, to continue the story I had begun with the first, to explain further that which makes 'single' a part of my fatherhood story. There's been a clamor, however, for photographs — tout de suite, if you please...

As I sat rocking Boo at 3 a.m., I enjoyed the soft baby scent of his hair, his smooth supple skin, and the gentle rhythm of his breathing. Boo had woken up a little scared and out of sorts. I went to his room to see what was wrong but luckily found nothing...

Keiler picked up his plastic golf clubs, grabbed a shovel and his favorite blanket. In an effort to save the blanket from the sand, I tried to take it and reason with him. Yeah right, Keiler screamed out "blankie" and started to cry.

Sun protection for kids is imperative. Ours even wear SPF 50 shirts at the beach and pool. They are available in short or long sleeve and the boys consider them a part of their swim suit. Between the shirt and shorts, there is less surface area to sunscreen which makes wrestling the little Gators go a little more quickly.
